Description
The pattern of my Morrocan Tiles throw is inspired by the colourful geometric designs on old tiles from Marrakesh and is woven in a reversing three shaft twill which presents the reverse colourway on the other side.
Each throw is hand woven by me in my studio in West Cornwall using the softest of lambswool yarns from a spinning mill in Scotland.
Perfect for autumn days and winter nights by the fire or on the sofa, or for adding a bit of extra warmth, colour and style to your bed. In the summer it can double up as a picnic blanket.
Please note, the images here show a hand twisted fringe edging. I now create my fringes whilst still on the loom by hem stitching the raw edge, locking groups of threads to form a loosely grouped fringe.
