Description
Keynvor is the Cornish name for ocean and the deep Cornish blue throw represents the deep and dangerous blue of this very wildest and unpredictable of seas.
It is the perfect gift, memento or keepsake for sailors, fishermen, surfers, swimmers, kayakers, divers, or anyone who enjoys simply splashing about at the shoreline or gazing out at the ever changing and dramatic Cornish sea. Something to remind you of wonderful times spent in the Padstow and Trevose Head area when it’s cold and winter dark.
The movement in the pattern symbolises the wind-blown choppy seas, the white of the spume way below in Mackerel Cove, and the flash of mackerel or sea bass as they weave back and forth in shoals, hunting just below the surface.
And of course it evokes our playful connection with the sea through our love of surfing, diving or swimming, yachting or fishing and all those holiday pursuits, and the deep and sometimes dangerous connection of local fishermen who make their daily living out at sea with the Cornish fishing fleet.
A perfect complement to any seaside home.
